This month’s Donor Spot Light features the Thoughtfulness Committee (TLC) at Retter’s Academy of Dance who just celebrated their 26th year of giving to Manna. TLC brought in 400 pounds of food to Manna during their holiday drive!
TLC members range from ages 8-17 years. Their shared passion is serving their community & the world to show that “Dancers Care”! Under the direction of Darryl & Linda Retter, this noteworthy committee has been praised by governors, national dance publications, and community leaders.
The Academy’s goal is to empower dancers with the power of good and optimism. The idea is to combat adversity with a good deed. So no matter what lies ahead ~ goodness will always prevail.
Retter’s Academy of Dance promotes leadership through dance education. Their philosophy being that one must learn how to serve in order to lead. The Thoughtfulness Committee provides a plan of action to caring individuals who wish to make the world a better place to live.
We deeply admire and thank Retter’s Thoughtfulness Committee for their commitment to their community and for their dedication to Manna.
