Our Policies and What to Expect

Manna is here to help individuals and families struggling with food insecurity regardless of their situation. On your first visit to the pantry, you will be asked to fill out a short registration form, provide a photo ID and some type of proof of residency in the Conejo Valley. Once you are registered, you will only need to show an ID to visit. Manna serves the following cities: Thousand Oaks, Agoura Hills, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Calabasas, and Oak Park.

As a choice-based pantry, you will be able to choose the groceries that you need from Manna’s supply of fresh produce, frozen meat, fresh bread, and shelf-stable pantry items. Some items will have limited quantities. Most clients leave with a full shopping cart of food—enough to last for several weeks. Our food selection does vary, so you may see slightly different options on each visit.

You may visit Manna every 14 days. Our pantry hours are:

  • Tuesday 9:30am-2:30pm
  • Thursday 9:30am-3:30pm
  • Saturday 9:30am-12:30pm

Manna clients are served in a first come first serve basis; there is no need for an appointment.

Please bring your own shopping bags when coming to Manna. When you do come, please park in front of Manna and respect the driveways of our neighbors, if you do need to park on the street.

Manna’s focus is on those people who are housed, but unable to make ends meet to purchase groceries. Our food inventory is most suitable for those with storage options and kitchen access. If you are homeless, please contact Lutheran Social Services at 805-497-6207 or 2-1-1. Daily meals for those experiencing homeless are provided at Harbor House at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 1 W. Avenida de los Arboles in Thousand Oaks.
