ABOUT THE ADMINISTRATION

 

Executive Director John "J.P." Gorham has lived in Thousand Oaks since 1966. He has served on numerous boards for local non-profit groups over the years and resigned his position as Vice-President of MANNA to take the part-time interim Executive Director position on October 31, 2006. He was hired as the first full-time Executive Director of MANNA on July 1st, 2007 and is deeply committed to serving the people he has known as neighbors most of his life.

 
 
 
 
 
 
Following a lengthy bed-ridden period and difficult divorce, Mr. Gorham won full physical custody of his two children and first came to MANNA as a client himself. With this intimate knowledgeof MANNA and his extensive community experience, he brought a professionalism and compassion to MANNA that has been acknowledged throughout the community. Mr. Gorham also serves on the Executive Board for the Conejo Council PTA; Chairs the Reflections art program for 22 local schools; is the Band Booster President for Redwood Middle School  
 
 
 
 

and is a member of the Thousand Oaks Kiwanis Club. He currently resides in Thousand Oaks with his son Matthew and Daughter Jessica.
